The company is primarily engaged in ship building and repairing. It is involved in the operation of a shipyard (a fixed facility with dry docks and fabrication equipment capable of building a ship). Activities of a shipyard include the construction of ships, the repair, the conversion and alteration, the production of prefabricated ship and barge sections, and the provision of specialized services, such as ship scaling. The company has a registered office located in Burela in Lugo, Spain. The company was founded in 1992 in order to meet the demand of ships with lengths up to 70 meters. It was projected with modern infrastructures that optimize the company productivity; 5,600 square meters divided into four covered bays, two of which allow to build simultaneously up to six ships with a length of 30 meters in two shipways and one outfitting dock of 250 meters. The plate shops and warehouses are located in the other two bays.
